Siddharth Venkat used to be a music journalist, until his passion for indigenous instrumentation, traditional music forms, and fermentation moved the focus to education. He makes and sells kombucha, kimchi, and other probiotic foods, as well as didgeridoos, asalatos and other ancient musical instruments. Currently, he assists with Yahnai Kaduh, a sustainable and alternative community in the Palani Hills. He lives in Pethuparai.
